The biggest and most famous cycling race on the planet, the Tour de France, is behind us. Jerseys are distributed to the best riders, injuries are treated and the incredible battles of this year's Old Ladies will become legends that will be talked about for a long time.
And we are extremely proud that, thanks to the Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Materiuax team, we were able to be there with FORCE. Although the Tour de France was not as successful for IWG as the previous Giro d`Italia, the riders of this team recorded several partial successes that will undoubtedly go down in team history. A total of 9 times the riders of the IWG team got into the TOP 10 of the overall classification, of which 3 times they also managed to occupy the podium in the stage - in the 5th stage it was 2nd place after an all-day escape by Taco van der Hoorn, in the 12th stage for second place went to Louis Meintjes and in the final, 21st stage, Alexander Kristoff made it to the bronze stage. Louis Meintjes, who was 8th overall and seventh among mountaineers, did a great job in the overall ranking, while Georg Zimmerman won a beautiful 7th place in the order of riders under 23 years of age.

The 77th edition of the Vuelta a España starts already on August 19, 2022, and it will last until September 11, 2022, and the IWG team with Czech representative Jan Hirt and FORCE helmets and racing goggles will be at its start again!
