May has passed quickly and so did Giro d'Italia. And what can we say about that?

You must have noticed the FORCE products at the Giro 2022. Our "typical yellow helmet" was unmissable at the finishing line! Let's take a closer look at what the professional riders of the Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert-Matériaux team are carrying. The ORCA and LYNX helmets, along with the AMBIENT sunglasses were stars of the peloton.

ORCA helmet is designed with maximum emphasis on aerodynamics and minimum air resistance during the ride, which every professional cyclist will appreciate. Improved air circulation is provided by 8 air vents inside the shell, which has a great benefit for aerodynamics and ventilation. Comfort is ensured by the foam lining and lightweight secure fastening.

LYNX helmet is a professional helmet that offers great ventilation due to the 19 air vents. The helmet also has mesh to protect you against bugs and insects. If you add MIPS technology you will get a helmet which provides unrivalled safety thanks to the brain protection technology.

AMBIENT sunglasses are equipped with a stronger and more flexible grilamid frame. They provide tough protection against fogging and scratches. The model with a photochromic lens changes the colour to match the light conditions and removes sunlight reflections during bright days. Transmittance 15/64" ensures good visibility in all conditions.

NEO helmet is also popular among riders from the Wanty team. The helmet features an aerodynamic design and high-quality ventilation. Airflow around the head is provided by 24 large air vents, keeping it cool and dry. The magnetic fastening brings a reliable fit, comfort and perfect grip.

So how was this year's Giro? It was an incredible ride. You might remember the last GIRO when Taco van der Hoorn won the third stage and we could celebrate our first Grant Tour win as a company. None of us expected such success, and yet it happened. However, this year Intermarché Wanty Gobert's team has pushed the boundaries way further.

Biniam Girmay's phenomenal performances marked cycling history, and the victory of the Czech rider Jan Hirt on the queen stage took our breath away. And we are incredibly pleased and proud that our products have been able to help them achieve these successes.
