This year we had the honour of participating in the UCI Cycling World Championships 2023, hosted for the first time in Glasgow, Scotland.
As spectators, we got a chance to see the main elite race men, where our riders from Elkov Kasper Czech Cycling Team took part.
The atmosphere in the streets of the centre was indescribable and the race was very interesting and challenging.
Michael Boroš together with Adam Ťoupalík were great the whole race and crossed the finish line in a very solid position.
The day before we watched the Canyon Northwave MTB Team racers in their Saturday pre-race warm-up, which they completed on the final leg of the Glentress Marathon course.
We were hoping for a good result for all riders, but we really didn't expect that all three riders would make it to the Top 10, with Martin Stošek winning the silver medal and becoming World Vice-Champion
The team has been performing fantastically this year, and this success has culminated at just the right time.
