DIY service

You don't want to rush with every little thing to the mechanic? Would you like to tinker with the bike yourself? You don't need a garage filled with the latest service gadgets. All you need are a few things that can help you get the basics right.

So what shouldn't be missing in your workshop at home?

Wrenches

With our new triple-sided Y wrenches, hex and torx, you can tighten pretty much anything on your new bike, whether it's a disc, stem, brakes, derailleur, fixed axle or even a saddle. You can get by with them.

Chain checker, pliers and splitter

Use the chain checker to see if your chain is too stretched. It's definitely a good idea to check your chain every 500km at most to save yourself a costly cassette and sprocket replacement. If you find that the new chain needs to be shortened, then splitter will come in handy along with pliers of course.

Pump

Then there's one final thing you need - a proper pump. Preferably one with a pressure gauge, so you don't inflate too much or too little. Get to a pressure you're comfortable with and you're ready to go.

And if you need anything, you can always consult your buddy - YouTube where you can find tutorials on anything. You can also try our channel, where we have a How to... series that will also give you lots of advice.
