PREDATOR 01TT CPC is the new integrated time trial saddle featuring CPC – Connect Power Control, Prologo’s innovative, patented technology developed for the world of cycling. This revolutionary saddle, extremely lightweight and aerodynamic, will support the Visma | Lease a Bike team leader during the decisive time trials of the 2025 Tour de France, helping him optimize both riding position and performance.

From the very beginning, the PREDATOR 01TT CPC project has stood out thanks to its close collaboration with Team Visma | Lease a Bike, which selected Prologo as its Innovation Technical Partner at the start of season 2025. A first version of this saddle has already been used by Jonas Vingegaard, Wout Van Aert, and teammates during this season’s time trials, helping them conquer TT stages at both the Volta ao Algarve and Paris–Nice.


The valuable feedback received from the riders, technical staff, and performance managers of the Dutch WorldTeam allowed the Italian brand to further enhance an already cutting-edge product. Designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation software and refined in the wind tunnel, the saddle was developed to work in synergy with both the bike and the athlete. The marginal gains it provides have been validated through targeted velodrome testing in controlled conditions.


The Advantages of Connect Power Control Technology On the surface of the PREDATOR 01TT CPC, the distinctive nanostructure of the Connect Power Control technology is clearly visible. This patented system, introduced by Prologo to cycling but also used in military and Formula 1 applications, delivers top-tier performance and comfort through vibration absorption, grip, and positional stability. CPC will help Jonas Vingegaard maintain the most aerodynamic position possible during the blistering 33 km time trial in Caen, Stage 5 of the 2025 Tour de France. Thanks to its unique 3D hollow conical polymer nanostructure, CPC reduces muscle fatigue, improves airflow, and lowers skin temperature in the contact zone. Strategically placed, CPC also protects muscles, tendons, and soft tissue from road vibrations, ensuring consistent performance in all weather conditions.


Pure Aerodynamics and Power
The smooth side wings of the saddle base conceal and shield the rail and seatpost clamp from airflow. Meanwhile, the sharp, pronounced rear profile channels turbulent air coming off the rider’s back along a straighter path, significantly reducing drag. The revolutionary carbon rail—integrated directly into the saddle base—features a broad, flat surface unlike traditional round or oval-section rails.


This patented solution maximizes power transfer and enhances ride feel and bike control. It creates a direct connection between seatpost and rider, allowing the cyclist to perceive even the slightest feedback from the frame. PREDATOR 01TT CPC is also a modular saddle that combines technical innovation with sustainability. The integrated plate and saddle base are designed to be separated, making it easier to replace, repair, and recycle individual components at the end of the product’s lifecycle.


Comfort and Lightness
The saddle’s ergonomic V-shape (260x110 mm) is designed to encourage maximum pelvic rotation, allowing the athlete to hold an aggressive aerodynamic position for longer. The 170 mmlong seating area includes extra EVA padding for maximum support. The large PAS central channel, extending across the entire contact area, reduces pressure on soft tissues for enhanced comfort. The saddle nose, 50 mm wide, offers a generous contact surface, enabling the rider to generate full power even in the forward-most riding position. This high-performance, comfortable, and aerodynamic saddle is, at just 145 grams, the lightest in its category.
